Fruity, bitter hops, berry, mango, peach; a wonderful interplay between the earthy bitterness, the nuanced fruity berry character, and the piney funky tropical depth. The resinous character of the hops shows through in a tongue-coating mouth feel. You’ll really feel saturated by all the hops. Delicious.

Can at home, from CW online, 11/04/21. Moderately hazed orange with a decent white cap. Nose is bitter orange, pine needle, grass, ripe melon, grapefruit. Taste comprises orange pith, grapefruit, pine needle, mango, bitter tropical fruit esters, grass. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with lightly aggressive juicy come grassy hop bitterness and a balanced rising boost. Solid fresh and clean drinking DIPA that ticks all the style boxes and maintains a good level of bitterness throughout ... a mid skool affair in my book.

Can from Beermerchants.com. A hazy golden/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, citrus, pine, tropical fruit aroma and taste. Nice resinous bitterness in this DIPA and not like the usual malty, sweet DIPAs from across the pond.

From a 355ml can on 5/11/2020. Pours an opaque deep golden with a smallish head and lots of yeast floaties. The nose is strong, with lots of dank fruit, pine and resin. Has a caramel malt backbone, with lots of peach, apricot and mango, followed by some big hops, featuring lots of pine and resin and which linger a little on the back of the tongue. The mouthfeel is slick, the carbonation moderate. An excellent and quite bold DIPA.

This DIPA poured a deep yellow, almost orange with a big beautiful creamy white head. Nice lacing. Scents include oranges, tangerines and nectarines with a slice of cream. First swig was smooth and creamy with flavours of citrus hops, butter and apricots. Finish is somewhat sweet and lightly bitter at the same time.

3 May 2020. Anke's Secret Birthday Tasting avec Pieter. Can from Gedeelde Vreugde. Pours hazy orange with an unstable, thin, foamy, off-white head. Aroma of ripe orange, mango, rambutan, cake, lime, onion, olive oil. Taste has sweet orange, mango & peach with a touch of stale lime, dank onion & biscuity maltiness. Hoppy bitterness building into the dank, floral-earthy hoppy finish, more mango, some grapefruit peel, spices & warming gin-like alcohol. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Good stuff.
