Keeping an eye out for the smugglers - the coast guard station guards the inlet to Sommarösund.The inlet was used as a safe passage as far back as the 15th century by both fishermen and seamen. Nowadays it's known to the locals and visitors alike as a summer paradise. Here the water always tends to be warmer than other places in the archipelago. During summers you will find the beach filled with people enjoying life and even on the coldest of winter days winter bathing is common in Sommarösund.

0,33l bottle from Prisma Vaasa. Hazy light golden beer with medium head. Aroma has yeast, wheat and citrus & some banana. Quite dry flavor with fruits and citrus. Only some hints of banana and not too sweet.

Flaska från butik i Finland. Guldisig med vit krona. Kryddig, jästig, örtig med typiska wit-toner.

Bottle 330ml. @ [ (PBF XII Tasting.) by oh6gdx ] - Petalax, Finland. [ As Kvarken Baywatch ].Hazy matt medium yellow colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, witbier yeast, bubble gum, coriander, rubbery, light plastic - burnt plastic. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, coriander, rubber, witbier yeast, wheat. IMO did realy not like this rubber - plastic off aroma and flavour .. Sorry ! Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180706] 4-3-5-3-9

Draught @ Little Pub, Vasa. Aroma is sweet and heavy with spices and apricot. Flavour has spices, ripe apricot. Quite spicy wit and on the ripe fruit side instead of citrus - somewhat refreshing still though. Cheers Pade!

Bottle 330ml in pbf xii. Hazy yellow colour, small white head. Coriander, some banana in the aroma. Light-bodied. Coriander, soapy, wheaty. Too coriander spicey.

33cl bottle @ PBF XII.Poured unclear golden color with a thin white head.Mild rubbery notes, coriander in aroma.Flavor has coriander, dryness, mild rubber. Overall ok, but the rubber notes could disappear in the future batches.

Bottled at PBF XII. Cloudy pale yellow. Coriander and tangerine up front. Mid sweet with light-medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Lots of coriander, mild citrus, very slight notes of rubber. Low bitterness.
