On tap at Brewdog Brighton. Clear deep orange red amber colour. Lasting white head. Some grapefruit and pineapple some candy sugar like sweetness. Good bitter finish. Good pink grapefruit throughout. Flavours are real good. Subtle not over the top but balanced and nicely bitter sour and drinkable with a lasting finish. I rather liked it. Surprisingly good.

Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Light palate, has a mild crispness. Thin malts, mild to medium sweet. Nice ripe orange and marmalade. Light pine and mellow skunk. A little ripe lemon. Touch of hop spice in the semi dry finish. Mild citric peel bitter linger. Clean and drinkable, just needs more hop muscle.

Keg at BD Castlegate. It pours lightly hazy amber with a small off-white head. The aroma is pretty fresh, fragrant, bitter - sweet, plenty of grapefruit, pomello and bread. The taste is crisp, dry, assertive bitterness, pithy grapefruit, lemon rind, pine, resin, slightly grain vibe, touch of astringency and some alcohol with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Decent enough, but a touch grainy perhaps.

Flavour is composed of si raw rustic base malts, little toast, spicy citrus peel, woody pine. Palate is semi sweet, grainy, highish carbonation, sticky hop. Assertive, slightly harsh hop bitterness. Ok ipa.

Bottle from Supervalu, Athlone[120216]
Dark amber, hazy, frothy white head
Aroma - Fruity, orange, mango, tropical fruits, sweet, big nose off this
Taste of tropical fruits, bitter hops, some yeast, some creamy caramel in the background, bitter zest, quite moreish (but I wrecked it somewhat by accidentally getting a lot of sediment in)
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, sweet malts, alcohol is a bit noticeable. Finish as main flavour, very bitter zest linger.
Overall - Good punch to this...need to get another bottle and pour it again - I’m sure it’ll score higher without the sediment (did mark it up a bit to compensate)
