On tap. Pours a cloudy, opaque black with a neat, creamy and lacing, beige head. Very discreet roast in the nose, more chocolatey actually. Light in body, nitro flat and smooth. Again chocolate and then a great and surprising almost Bourbon. Dry, slight coffee bitterness. 230925

Dark brown, chestnut color and a nice off-white head . Nice nose of roasted malts and nuts. Straight taste malty, roasty, decent bitter. Smooth

Irish stout is one of my least favorite styles. This one is quite spot-on yet it kinda hit the spot on this rainy day.

Flasche in Bremen in einem Supermarkt gekauft. Dunkles Braun, wenig Schaum. Aroma: Schokolade, Kaffee, etwas Karamell. Geschmack: Leicht trocken, mittlere süße, Karamell, hochprozentige Schokolade, mittlere bis mittelstarke Bitterkeit.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, little hops, chocolate, coffee and has a nice roasty finish.

Draught @ Union Brau, Bremen. Pours clear very dark brown with a small tan head, lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, light caramel, light sourness, little dried fruit. Flavor is light sweet, malty, caramel, light bread, little dried fruit. Thin to medium body, average carbonation, light sweet finish. 120820

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, hints of dark chocolate and pumpernickel, a cautious touch of treacle. Taste is dry, roasty dark malty, hints of dark chocolate, a touch of coffee, pumpernickel, minimally metallic overtones, a very cautious fruity hoppy touch of blueberry. Watery texture, minimally repellent, metallic, ice cube-like palate. OK.
