Keg at Mother Kelly's - Bethnal Green. Pours hazy, deep brown with a steady, foamy khaki head. Some spicy pine in the nose, orange peel. Medium sweet flavour with moderate toasty malts, some berries, citrus zest, mild bitterness, undertones of sweet chocolate. Medium bodiednwith fine, massaging carbonation. Decent balance in the finish, some nice pulpy orange juice, grapefruit, brown bread, soft rindy bitterness, just a touch of toast, grass. Very nice fruity CDA.

Fitting to hit another milestone with a beer dedicated to the king (and queen) of milestones. And one of my favourite styles as well. Cheers to J&C, and all of RateBeer.

Bottled 20-09-17. Lot of ish'es here. Blackish (murky brown), Vermontish (not.) IPA'ish.. that one's true. Not a bad beer, just ugly+boring.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Congrats Jan! Pale brown to black with a thin, frothy, quickly diminishing, beige head. Sweetish, moderately fruity, grassy and slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, fresh grass and pineapple. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy and a little roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, pineapple and fresh grass, followed by a short, moderately bitter, dry and slightly roasty finish. Thin to medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Interesting!

Murky brown colour. Aroma and flavour have strong hop oils. Some lime citrus too? A strange one.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 1. Cheers Jan to reaching this incredible milestone! Happy to have shared quite a lot of them with you over the years. And cheers to many more! Murky brown color, average sized off-white to beige head. Aroma is very nicely hoppy, grassy and fruity hops. Taste malts, hops all the way without losing the malt base, grassy and fruity hops and fruit hop bitterness. Ver nice indeed!
