The giant erupts from an ocean dark as chocolate. A monster masked by a fog of thick smoke, poised under a coffee black sky. Moonlight lacing clings to its robust structure, and descends as if a rib cage disappearing into waves of foam. No one knows from whence it came, yet

16 ounce can. Opaque black color. Small creamy tan head. Roasted malt nose has a hint of mocha. Sweet roasted malt flavor upfront. There is a slightly smoky nuance going on. Further notes of coffee and cocoa come forward. Sweet and sticky.

Bottle from the brewery: pours pretty near black with a bwige head. Aroma is light chocolate, roasty maltys, light coffee. Taste is chewy, lightly chocolatey, kind of sweet, low biterness. Easy for the size.
