Copper with thick beige lacing. Bitter pineapple? and grapefruit. Pairs really well with cheesesteak eggrolls 😋Nice malt in the end topped with a clean hop

Another DIPA obtained from Half Time, always pleased to find these at a good seller. A 16 oz can, opened and going inside of a tulip glass. I see a hazy gold-yellow followed by a consistent cover of solidly white foam. A wide-ranging scent, pleasant. Pineapple, citrus, tropical, a touch of bread and field. I lift the glass and take a good drink. Hoppy fortunately, mangoes, oranges, grapefruit peel, some floral, crackers and honeydew. Splits the difference between WC and NE styles, I opine, in a good way. With all that is going on with this one, there is a noticeable bitterness. I call this beer a good one.

16 ounce can. Pours a clear golden color with a large white head. A big citrus nose. Soft, big resin, citrus, orange peel. Solid.

Very crisp and clear golden, copper and bronze coloured body with a two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of resin, pine, pineapple, grass, flowers and some very mild tropical fruits, all with a lot of alcohol and malt noticeable, as well. Full-bodied; Rich alcohol and astringent burn shows at first with some resin, pine and grapefruit bitterness all from the hops, but then the malt hits hard and shows some grassiness and bite with bitterness just from the malt noticeable, as well. Aftertaste is very deep-showing a ton of warmth and punch from the alcohol, with perhaps even more from the malt, but at least the bitterness from the hops is pungent, as it should be for the style, but the profile from the hops isn't my favourite and definitely shows the ~9 per cent alcohol. Overall, a decent, but strong (real) Imperial IPA that is pungent, but not a great structured, flavoured or complex beer altogether. Decent to try, but not worth searching for, nor waiting for any sort of annual release! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 20-July-2020 for US$3,99 sampled in my house here in Washington on 24-July-2020, just four days later.

Tap at Patrick's pub on the moon. Surprisingly neutral smell. Slight haze on a pale. Taste is big nasty IPA, what else? All the way to IPA. So rude, so nasty. Terribly on style mah fah. Bitchen bastard thick mouth coating viscous feel in the end.

Pour is a hazy orange with a large white head. Aroma is oranges, honeydew and mangoes. Very fruity. Flavor is again some tropical fruit with a bit of bitter orange peel. Finish leaves a little bitterness on the tongue but not anything over the top. This beer goes to show that you can make a fruity IPA without making it look like juice. A well done fruit bomb with no alcohol showing.
