Brewing is the craft of blending science with artistry then introducing the mystical. Field to Ferment exemplifies this adventure. We will brew this fresh hop ale throughout the entire hop harvest in Yakima using each of four hop varieties as they are harvested. At least that’s the plan. Nature may have a different plan. Such is the harvest. In order of harvest, we will brew with fresh Centennial, Simcoe, Citra, and finally Mosaic hops.
Field to Ferment represents a colossal collaboration between the brewery and our hop farmers. No one has attempted to brew fresh hop beers throughout the entire season. Please do enjoy this beer absolutely fresh, and enjoy the adventure this beer represents...Because Fresh Hop Beer Matters!

Can to pint glass. Aroma is citrus and soft malt. Chill hazed copper-orange with pristine white head. Overt citrus with solid crisp malt backing. The best of the bunch.

Pours a dark amber from a can. Piney aroma and flavor, a little thin, not much malt to back it up. Okay beer.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours brassy gold with a creamy white head. Aroma suggests soft, fruity citrus. Med body. Flavor is fruity, somewhat earthy citrus and mild malt supporting. Not all that dry, but decently bitter.

Can thanks to Andrew! Pours hazy orange, medium creamy white head, dissipates fairly slowly, good lacing. Aroma is leafy, green tea, some grapefruit zest. Flavor is light sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body.

Draught. Clear orange pour with white head. Light lacing. Grassy and piney aroma. Flavour is rather like a light IPA with a pleasant lawn finish

Draft pour pint at Fremont. Super fresh too. Can't go wrong with this. A bright, glowing orange pour. Cool to see them bring a new hop to the mix this year. Even of they didn't, I'd be drinking them all anyway. Beers like this make this the best beer season of the year. Very hop heavy aroma. Quite dank, but in this case, its not a bad thing. Juicy, liquid hops here. Very hop heavy, which I suppose is the point. Quite the amarillo showcase. Dank and grassy for sure. Quite a tasty one overall.
