Burk i hemmet .

Poured from a 16 oz can dated December 27, 2024.
Aroma is hop forward and fairly oily and dank. Solid amounts of fruity hop notes with passion fruit, gooseberry, and citrus. Lots of dank, fusel notes with diesel, cat piss, and pine resin. Light cracker malt notes and light alcohol notes.
Pours a fairly clear, yellow-gold with a medium large, moderately thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to the edges where it lingers in clumps. Medium lacing and small legs.
Flavor is somewhat sweet with light cracker malt notes. Fairly high bitterness with medium light alcohol notes. Moderately strong hop notes of grapefruit pith with lighter notes of passion fruit and berry. Fairly strong dank, resin, pine notes present themselves towards the finish and linger.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and medium low alcohol warmth.
Overall, a solid DIPA. Tons of super oily nelson character in the aroma with lighter fruity hop notes. Flavor has a more citrus forward hop character but with a ton of pine resin darkness in the finish. Balanced sweetness and bitterness. Alcohol is fairly well hidden.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours a clear bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is very dank, with loads of pot-like hops, a touch of citrus tang, and biscuity malt to back. Flavour is clean, robust and balanced, with a big punch of dank piney hops, some gentle citrus / vinous tang from the Nelson, and just enough sweet maltiness to provide balance. Sturdy, robust and beautifully constructed. Amazingly easy to drink for what it is. Excellent.
