Bomber from Berkeley Bowl West. Pours lightly copper tinged gold with a creamy white head. Champagne type bubbles from the bottom of the New Belgium tulip. Interesting aroma of pale stone fruit and significant caramel. Med body or so. Flavor is slightly biting pale stone fruit with mildly roasty malt - very mildly. Lots of fruitiness in a dry and bitter way. Clearly there are enormous amounts of hop, but they don't seem to wonder far from fruit for me. Dry and bitter. The best way to go. Five minutes after the foregoing: I'm getting a little cyanide taste - like one can get from apricot pits. Not dangerous, but mentally exhilarating.
