Can. It's a dark brown one, with a small beige head. Lightly burnt malts, roasted malts, chocolate, coffee and hints of licorice in the aroma. It's rather thin on the palate, semi-dry and nicely carbonated, with flavors of roasted and burnt malts, chocolate and some coffee and licorice. Long finish. A decent beer, but I think it would be much better if the ABV was lifted to at least 6%. 210523

500ml can, 5.0 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet City Nord in Bodø. Solid tan-coloured head slowly diminishing over a coal black body. Clingy lacing. Moderate smell of dark dough, roasted. Blended malt-forward taste profile of dark bread, chocolate, and a backbone of lactose. Lightly roasted grainy ending, hints of coffee. Easy to drink. Pretty alright. (Cabin, MC FInnmarken, Svolvær 30.06.2020).

Can @ OAK Wine and Craft Beer, Naples. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of roast and yeast, with some sourish hints. Bitter, roasty flavour with notes of coffee and hops and sweetish touches of lactose and yeast. Roasty and estery aftertaste with lactic touches. Decent, except for the sourish notes in the aroma - I was afraid the beer might have been infected. Fortunately, I was wrong.

Draught @ Dynamo - Bar de soif, Chaussee d Alsemberg, 130, Brussels, Belgium 1060. [ As Dogma Crna Krava ].Hazy matt medium brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, roasted, coffee, lacto - cream - vanilla, light chocolate. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, roasted, coffee, cream - lacto, cream - vanilla. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180316] 7-2-7-3-15

Bottle, 0.33l. Murky muddy brown pour with small beige head, short lasting. Floating yeast in the glass. Not much of a looker to be honest. Looks like a failed bottle, considering the name "black cow". Nose totally faint, nothing much in there. All I get is some slight roastiness and some hops. Thin body, medium to high carbonation. Lively and prickly. Light and watery texture. Bittersweet taste. Aroma of... not sure. There's this lingering bitterness throughout the whole drink. Some very faint notes of cocoa and caramel. Herbal touch. Pretty empty all around. Overall, can't say much about this one. It doesn't smell like a stout, it doesn't look like a stout nor does it taste like a stout. I'm pretty sure this one is failed batch. Shame.

spina, schiuma beige fine evanescente, colore nero, al naso malto mou vaniglia, in bocca uguale leggero tostato, carbonatazione moderata, corpo rotondo, amaro leggero con retrogusto dolce e affumicato nel finale. Un po’ tropo dolce per lo stile. 08.01.18 Miners pub Belgrado
