Bottle split at CBC Covent Garden, thanks to Kenny, 20/11/18. Black with a solid tan head. Nose is chocolate, spice, mellow barrel rip, toffee, dried fruits. Taste comprises rum baba, cocoa powder, fruit cake, good rum licks, oak, raisins, plummy depths. Medium plus body, fine carbonation, gentle warming alcohol in the close Decent impy.

Can shared at craft beer Co Covent Garden. 20/11/2018. Many thanks to Kenny for this one. A dark mahogany brown coloured pour with a halo of white head. Aroma is solvent, brown sugars, dried fruit, vanilla, brown sugars. Flavour is composed woody, bark, solvent, harsh alcohol, woody coconut, alcohol.. Ok.

Bottle shared in London - cheers to Kenny. Pours black-brown with a foamy tan head. Lots of ashy roast, dark malts, dried berries, earth. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming finish, more ash, dark chocolate, burnt earth. Solid.

Borefts IX. Keg. Opaque dark brown beer, no head. Smooth and mildly viscous palate, modest fine carbonation. Tangy fruity chocolate malts. Sweetish rum. Rum soaked fruits. Little vanilla oak. Spicy finish. Very nice.

Keg at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Black pour with a tan head. Aromas of black cherries, dark roast coffee, dark chocolate, prunes,fresh tobacco, liquorice. Flavours of dark berries, dark chocolate, more coffee,whisper of blackcurrant, smoke. Boozy sweet finish. Lovely stuff!

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Weird Beard Sadako (Rum BA) ].Clear dark black - red brown colour with virtually no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, honey, alcohol - sweet alcohol - rum, light wood. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol - rum, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, wood, dark fruit - honey.
