Keg at the Ignition taproom, 28/11/2025.
Hazed orange to light amber topped with an off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is orange peel, grass, herb, citric tinged straw.
Taste comprises tangerine, melon, airy malts, gerass.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close spotted with light grassy hop bitterness.
Forgettable.

Bottle from Bottle Cave Sydenham. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a big dose of malts. Resinous edge. Amber-orange. Opaque. Thin bubbly white head. Light-medium bitter. Citrus edge. Spice. Marmalade. However it then develops a big malty streak and a nip of boiled veg. Thr finish gets rather bitter and grainy. Medium bodied. Slick. Soft carbonation. Dry astringent finish. It's fine. Starts off promisingly if not particularly pale ale-esque but then develops into some sort of sub par golden ale.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at London Beer Lab. Pours mostly clear honey-orange-gold with a frothy, off-white head. Overall, it's a bit amateurish, with overarching bready malts, some phenolic off notes, ripening citrus, mild minerality, orange peel. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. More sweet pale malts in the finish, some moist hay, grass, more citrus peel. Quite basic.

Bottle from the resurrected Catford Beer Festival, Catford Bridge Tavern, Catford. Drank at home. Amber pour with a white head. Aromas of barley sugar, lemon, lime, hint of spice. Similar action in the flavour. Bitter kick in the finish. Not bad.
