Aroma of roasted malts, caramel, dark chocolate, coffee, pine, tropical fruit, aromatic hops. Flavour is roasty, coffee, with a potent lingering bitterness in the aftertaste.

33cl bottle. Thanks Gnoff. Poured black color with a thick white head. Nutty, roasty, sweet fruity aroma. Sweet flavors, some mild smoke and berries. Quite interesting.

Tap at biercab. Pours black, creamy off white head that is extremely stable and has a real nice lacing. Smell is roasty, as well as hoppy. Sharp and creamy, alnost lactic in a way. Taste is full, very differentbin its hop than expected. Not sharp at all. Full, creamy, chocolaty, very full. Mild hoparoma, as well as a decent bitterness. Damn , this actually IS good !!! Can’t agree more with the text ’everything an BIPA should be. One of the very few nice examples in the style.

A colablack beer, a head is very big and beige. Aroma has pine, liquirice, some lemon and chocolate. Taste has liquirice, pine, roastiness, medium bitterness that is getting stronger in the end. Medium bodied, too high carbonation. Exp. date is already within two weeks but still quite ok. Good balance between the "black" and IPA.

On keg at the Hanging Bat. Appearance - close to opaque black but with some red chinks. Nice lacy head. Nose - very dark chocolate. Taste - rich chocolate with a bitter chocolate finish. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - this is at the stout side of black ipa.

Zwart bier met schuim. Smaak is krachtig bitter hoppig en licht rookig met iets van zwarte bessen en chocolade.
