Bottle from either Hoptimism or Hogs Back Brewery. Guessing it's this version as their website's not working. Rich roast coffee aroma. Liquorice. Resin. Dark cola brown. Thick shaving foam beige head. Light-medium bitter. Spicy. Tempered by underlying creaminess. Light-medium bodied. Slick if a tad watery. Fizzy carbonation. Dry finish. Pleasant. Would happily drink more.

Level 6 Bottleshare. Thanks to Dan. Three Hills. Semi opaque dark brown beer, small pale head. Airy palate, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fluffy malts, slightly watery tasting. Watery dark chocolate, trace of dry dark malt cream. Semi dry finish. Okay.

Bottle at L6, thanks to Dan, 13/06/18. Murky chestnut to mahogany brown with a decent beige cap. Nose carries plastic notes, tangy dark fruits, light spice, charr. Taste comprises burnt toffee, light pine, dark fruit rinds, light spice, cocoa rub. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with earthy hop bitterness. Sub par offering ... tangy and disjointed with a heavy plastic nose ... seems I had a different bottle to the others!
