From tap at Borefts 2017. Aroma is spicy with cardamom, roasted malt, some chocolate, floral/herbal notes. Flavour is light to moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Modest medium body. Nice spiced/floral/herbal-ish Stout.

Keg at Borefts Day 1 22/09/2017. A jet black coloured pout with a loose light tan head. Aroma is woody pine, brown sugars, soft woody roast. Flavour is composed of soft roast, chalky, pine tips, woody bark, liquoprice. Palate is grainy, moderate carbonation, thin, Nod bad.
#wanderlust post checkin - surprisingly robust considering the abv. Nice flavours. Could be a session stout

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Weird Beard Hippy Hating Hippie! ].Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, spicy, rosehips, flowers. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, peppery, roasehips, roasted, spicy - cinnamon - cardamom. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. Opaque dark brown beer, decent tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, decent carbonation. Soft dark malts with a nice dark chocolate, not at all bitter. Cooling cardamom, not too strong, Just a trace of rose. Tangy fruits and mild cinnamon on the smooth finish. Interesting and flavoursome but could not drink loads of this.

Bottle from Park Fever, Hither Green. Black pour with a tan head. Nose of dates, figs, cola, raisin, coffee. Flavours of licorice toffee, cola, figs, prunes, light blackcurrant action. Spicy-sweet finish. Good.
