12oz bottle pours a clear, dark gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose has candy, grist, orange, honey. Flavor has honey... lime... not much else. Some grass and straw maybe. Dry and merciful finish.

Clear golden and light amber coloured body with a very thin, fast-dying just off-white head, only about a centimetre tall. Aroma of grass, hay, rice, bitter hops and a touch of pine - strong and super dry throughout. Medium-bodied; Assertive grassy, herbal and almost too bitter flavoured up front with a big kick from pungent hops than form anything else, then some of the more-rounded notes come through. Aftertaste shows well, with some light pungency and a touch of citrus there. Overall, a nice beer that shows well, especially in what will be grassy and almost herbal finish. Aftertaste is nice and mellow and shows a bit more product along with the attitude that seems to be medicore througout with some decent flavours. I sampled this twleve ounce bottle purchased from Wine, Cheese & More in Chincoteague, Virginia (Eastern Short) on 28-May-2017 for US$1,99 sampled at home in Washington on 23-June-2017.
