Draft at Lambiczoon. Slightly hazy pale yellow color. Earthy aroma. Taste is lightly tart and earthy with subtle citrus. At the recommendation of the server I held the glass up to my ear but I still couldn’t hear the sea.

Bottle shared at the level 42. Canary wharf tasting 20/10/2016. Many thanks to Cloin. A hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is fruity apricot lemon, straw, pithy lemon, salt. Flavour is super dry, salty, umami, pithy lemon, super dry finish salty, sea water and pithy lemo. Palate is super dry, highish carbonation, tart and drying. A little heavy on the salt for me.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Cloin. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Lemony notes in the nose, some wheat flakes. Medium sweet flavour, salty, with straw, dough, wheat. Light bodied with spritzy carbonation. Clean and tart on th finish, more salty bite, doughy wheat bread. So so.

Bottle thanks to Colin. Consumed up at level 42. It pours cloudy golden with thick, foamy white head (also the bottle looks pretty serious). The aroma is fresh, funky, salty, earthy, cracker, creamy, herbal and brioche. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter - sweet, juicy, creamy, grassy, salty, earthy and wood with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Not so bad, but far from the most exciting example of the style.
