9 Rubies Raspberry IPA or Raspberry “Smoothie” is brewed by using Oats and Lactose for a sweeter, fuller body. Citra and Mosaic hops enhance a fruit forward flavour.
9 Rubies were set into the golden salamander that was retrieved from the Armada's Girona. 3 rubies remain & the jewel is now held at the Ulster Museum.

Cask at GBBF. It pours cloudy pink - red with a small white head. The aroma is sweet, creamy, bright, tangy, juicy, big raspberry vibes and milkshake action. The taste is dry, bitter, slick, creamy, juicy, tangy, raspberry milkshake, tart, tangy, pithy, hop burn and piney edge with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Rather nice.
