Named for our friends at Knotty Woods, Knotty is a bold, sunny, juicy and indisputably dank double IPA. It’s generously hopped with Simcoe, Mosaic, Chinook and Ekuanot hops and balanced with two-row malt, pale rye and Premium English Caramalt. Because the only thing better than sharing beer with your friends is making it with them.

Can 355ml (Beer Rep, canned 01/2019) Slightly hazy orange colour, medium-sized steady white head and lace. Some hop oils and mango in the nose. Medium-bodied. Resiny, piney, citrusy flavour. Bitterness with some alcohol. Decent old school DIPA - enough bittering hops.

Canned, 355 ml, courtesy of and shared with Miro B. Cloudy orange, small white head. Hoppy, malty, pine, some fruit, nice bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Bomber at home shared with Caesar. Hazy yellow color, medium to full sized white head. Smell and taste malts, hops, bitter hops, piney / spruce hoppy bitter. Medium body, suitable decent carbonation. 8-3-9-4-18 [RB score] Update: even better the 2nd time around. Upgraded it to 8-8,5-9-9-9. Delicious. And even better than those previous times when I tried it again, upgrading it again. Love this beer. Btw: tried again from can this time.

The Aromas are wet grain and fresh grapefruit hops. Flavors are like nose, well-balanced, slightly sweet upfront going to some bitterness and then alternating sweet and bitter into the Finish with great carbonation. Also a little bit of weed flavor in there. Very nice beer.

Frothy white head stayed well on an unclear dark orange coloured still body - Looks great! Bitter pith, malt, stewed fruit & pine aroma. Medium bodied, soft on the tongue with a prickle down the back & cloying finish. Bitter tangy citrus, orange, pith grapefruit malt & caramel tastes with a sharp fruity finish.

Optisch leicht trüb, schöner Schaum. In der Nase Mango, reife Zitrusfrüchte, könnte intensiver sein. Im Trunk cremig, gleich zu Anfang auch alkoholisch, müsste nicht sein. Zieht sich boozy auch bis in den Abgang und überdeckt so die Fruchtnoten. Schade.

355ml can - Pours a slightly hazy orange colour with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, sweet citrus, oranges and tangerines and pine. A sweet fruity taste, orange marmalade with a robust orange peel and pine hop bitterness.
