Our seasonal Pale Ale has a big fruity hop aroma with a taste that follows suit. A subtle and balanced malt character creates a canvas for the hops to shine.

Can: Very hazy orange/amber with a thick, off-white head. BIG citrus aroma....orange, grapefruit, lemon. Taste is mildly piney, stronger citrus-peel. Sweet start over a solidlt bitter backbone. Dry.....Really Good.

Can. Hazy light amber body. Frothy white head. Aroma of raw hop leaf, lemon, citrus, orange peel, toasted grain. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/sticky texture, lively carbonation. Lingering bitterness. Taste of grapefruit rind, citrus, orange. Clean with good balance among the flavors in addition to the bitterness. Nice pale ale which tastes more like an IPA.

Light nothing with some spice like pepper in your water. Pours golden with ok head and lacing. Light tangy finish. Tap sampled at Lost River Pizza.

Re-rate on tap at Gambrinus. Tap is just a bit fruitier and cleaner than the can. This is one of the best beers from West Sixth. Can from Discount. Pours a clearish honey gold with a finger of foam that lingers. Dank, fresh green nose with some resin and overripe orange juice. Catpiss and New Zealand hop-like character shines...stinky tropical with a touch of earth. Clean and crisp on the palate, balanced malt. Light weed and catpiss. Bitter finish. Definitely one of the more modern styles of beer from West Sixth. Digginβ this a lot. --- Beer merged from original tick of Pennyrile Pale Ale on 11 Dec 2016 at 16:53 - Score: 7.
