Day Job is a hop-forward pale ale brewed with Idaho 7, Citra and Chinook hops. Golden in color, it’s awash with aromas of grapefruit zest and pine, while two-row, light crystal and Golden Naked Oats provide a medium body. We think it should be in your job description to share this fun, easy-drinking brew with friends.

Can from Dogenzaka Shinanoya. Pours darker orange, finger width of white foam on top. Looks solid. Quite dank hoppy nose, nobody is being stingy here, fresh and herbal-grassy with a note of fruits. Taste is also hoppy bit not overly bitter, more like tingling with light lupulin dust, some fruity base there as well, so not entirely hop-based. Well balanced and drinks easy, flavourful for a pale ale.

Yesterday from a can. One of the beers of the festival. How an APA should be made. Benchamrk for the style.

Can from Bine & Vine. Pours translucent gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is earthy with a touch of pine/citrus. Med body. Flavor is earthy, pine/citrus and maybe a floral touch. Light caramel support. Not very roasty. It expresses a certain juiciness. There's an interesting flavor in the finish that seems familiar, but I can't recall. Overall this is a pleasing pale ale.
