Our India Pale Ale is a new take on this highly popularized style. Citrus is the obvious star. Over the backbone of bready malt and pine stickiness you will find notes of peaches, lemon zest, danky grassiness, pine needles, and tangerines. Each sip is followed by a dangerously drinkable amount of resinous glamour.

12oz can from Beer52. An amber pour with a thick white head; the resinous piney aroma of a "traditional" West Coast IPA; malty body with a big sour grapefruit taste; and a pleasntly spicy resinous aftertaste. Very pleasant.

Re:rate: Tap at Maloney’s. Pours a clearish gold with a finger of white foam that lingers. Big orange and tangerine notes on the nose. Super refreshing with with citrus. Thankfully the pine notes are a bit muted. Lingering orange. Tap at CYO Brewing. Caramel, pine, honey and a bit of orange zest on the nose. Some grapefruit character as it warms. Medium body. Fairly bitter finish. Solid NW-style IPA, but a little old school for me. That being said, fairly easy drinking. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 27 Oct 2016 at 22:34 - Score: 7. Original review text: Solid straightforward IPA. Caramel, pine and citrus. Classic and tasty. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 31 Dec 2016 at 16:02 - Score: 7. Original review text: Very different beer on tap. Good punchy orange citrus with faint pine notes. Good malt backbone, but it sits neatly behind the hops. Solid. --- Beer merged from original tick of IPA on 12 Mar 2017 at 21:17 - Score: 7. Original review text: Solid IPA. Thanks Justin!

Can drank in the hotel in Nashville - picked up at Shenanigan’s in Lexington. Pours mostly clear orange-gold with a thick, frothy off-white head. Moderate pine in the nose, with touches of ripening citrus, bready malts, a little rind. Medium sweet flavor with a bit of grainy pale bread, light bitter pine, more rindy orange, some jam, faint grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish, with more jammy citrus fruits, grainy and bready malts, lightly bitter grass and pine. Decent IPA overall.

Haze. Golden-amber, not a big aroma, but there’s lots of bitterness, vaguely grapefruity, with a fairly pronounced, chewy malt backbone.
