Bursting with tropical aromas and juicy fruit flavors from Mosaic and Amarillo hops, this golden IPA is perfectly bitter with a refreshing, sublime finish.

Okay pamplemousse aroma but slight rotten vegetable stuff coming from this thing. Has a decent head and darker golden body. Flavour is soft citrus and grapefruit. Crisp finish. It's an okay IPA, but like so many others, nothing stands out.

17th Dec 2017, 355 ml bottle into a La Chouffe tulip glass at my daughters in California. Amber body, white crown of foam. Fruity nose and taste, nice hop blend, malts in the background keeping the bitterness in check. Nice beer.

From a can. Nice softly hoppy nose, some caramel, pears and melon. Light tropics, sort of chilling on the beach with some pine needle colada in your glass. Taste shows medium strong body, decent malty backbone that has some pine hop cover on top. Hops are not too aggressive, they are strong but soft, velvety. Light and meaty tropical fruits leading way to drier and naturally bitter finish. Not too complex but quite enjoying this.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Greg & Jane's Beer and Wine. Appearance is clear, golden yellow with trace sparkle, finger-width white fizzy head with poor retention and decent soapy lacing. Aroma is tropical fruit, citrus, dank resin. Taste is citrus, dank resiny bitterness, grass. Palate is light bodied with thin texture, average carbonation and crisp, dry mix of light sweet and bitter. Overall, a bit more bitter resin than I'd prefer but OK.

Okay IPA, grainy and malt-heavy but with enough tropical-citric hops to keep up the IPA facade. Biscuit malts stay on top of a toasty backbone, with mild orange-pineapple fruitiness laced with berries around the edges. Grows moderately piney on the back end, but never grows overly resinous or clingy on the finish. Nice pine-citric aroma, and the pour's pretty enough, but not a standout among such a crowded style.
