A double IPA brewed in collaboration with our friends at 67 Kapitali, a specialist beer bar in Valletta. Orange copper in colour and with a generous head, this is a bold beer that demands attention: old school piney and resiny aromas blend in with aromatic citrus and a sweet caramel backdrop. Clean and light bodied but crisp, hoppy, and aggressively bitter. A local favourite.

ABV: 6.7%. Cloudy medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, fruity malt, moderate to heavy hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, earthy hops, piney, pale malt, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180807]

Keg at GBBF. It pours hazy golden - amber with thick off - white head. The aroma is fresh, perfumed, sweet, powdery, bubblegum, bready, brioche, apricot and peach. The taste is dry, bitter, pithy, floral, sticky, spicy, citrus peel, slightly, soapy, straw, grass, booze and grapefruit with a dry, floral finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Rather floral, bit not bad.

9/7/2018. Draft at 67 Kapitali, Valletta, Malta. Pours hazy golden amber with a small off-white head. Aroma of tropical fruit, citrus, pine, hops, malt, biscuit and toffee. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Medium to full body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Bitter fruit finish. Decent, fruity, double.
