Bottle. Inky black pour. Aroma of molasses, chocolate, caramel, bitter malt and licorice. Taste of heavy bitter molasses, licorice, mocha coffee, ripe fruit and caramel. Heavy stuff, but a but too much licorice for me.

Botella 33 Cl de Cimmeria tomada en Llamas 20..08..2018. (r07 ) Color negro intenso con espuma beige oscuro que desaparece al poco tiempo dejando pequeña corona. Sabores intensos maltosos tostados con buenos toques de café algo torrefactas y vainillas. Cuerpo medio a intenso con buena sensación alcohólica desde el principio. Fina, sedosa y buena densidad. Bastante buena para repetir sin duda alguna.

Sampled from tap at Van Moll Fest 2018. Pitch black with light brown head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of milk chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla and some coffee. Very sweet, malty, gently roasty taste of nougat, hazelnut, vanilla and some coffee, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, fairly warming and a little earthy finish. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

Sampled @ Van Moll Fest 2018. Opaque pitch black color, average sized dark brown head. Aroma is malts, dark malts, a sweet note and a light note of barrel aging. Taste malts, dark malts, barrel aging again, light liquorice, distant chocolate notes, quite sweet. Quite thick texture, full body, medium carbonation. Good one! 8-5-8-5-15.

Picked this up from 3er Tiempo Tienda de Cervezas, Santander and shared with dad in his caravan at Thornbridge Peakender, Bakewell, Derbyshire Friday 17th August 2018 Pours black with barely any head, lots of beefy stock, thick in the mouth, sticky, sweet but good. Yes it is good but perhaps a little bit too sweet, a hint of liquorice, but some chocolate shows. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

ABV: 13.0%. Clear dark black colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, dark malt, dark fruit, alcohol, moderate chocolate and coffee. Flavor is light heavy sweet with a long duration, molasses, dark malt, sweet malt, dark fruit, sugary, alcohol. Body is medium to full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light to moderate alcoholic. [20180806]
