Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy. Pours dark reddish/brown, with very fine cream foam. Aroma is malty, some caramel, toasty, a little earthy. Body is average, with almost no carbonation. Taste is medium sweet, toasty. However, final is rather dry and clean.

A dark brown beer, a head is medium and blond. Aroma has caramel, roastiness, breadyness, some herbs. Taste has breadyness, light roastiness, herbs and caramel. Medium bodied. Great balance, I like this.

Nose - burnt toffee, nougat and malt loaf. A bit earthy actually.
Taste - chewy toffee, dried orange peel and again earthy.
Palate - medium bodied, a bit chewy. Fairly dry on the finish.
Overall - a good example of the style.
