Cask at the Justice Mill, Aberdeen. It pours clear brown with a handsome beige head. The aroma is brown bread, woody, toasted nut, light leather, caramel and toffee. The taste is fairly crisp and dry upfront, bitter - sweet character, toasted nut, earth, wood, toffee, spice and some dried fruits. Average body and moderate, fluffy cask carbonation. Rounded and rather drinkable. Decent.

Cask at Montgomerys Tower, Shrewsbury. Pours dark chestnut with minimal off-white head and good lacing. Aroma is mainly malts, with traces of caramel. In the mouth it is quite bitter with malts prominent but also some hoppy hints. Flavours too of marmalade, toffee and ginger leading to a slightly dry finish. This is decent.

Clear amber brown with a frothy off-white head and soft sweet malt on the nose. Smooth and fairly light with sweet caramel, some fruit malt and just a hint of bitterness coming through, but the sweetness overpowers it ahead of a dry finish
