44cl Blik, dank Harmen! Mistig goudgele kleur, witte kraag. Hoppig, citrus en druiven, heel licht zuurtje, droog, hooi, licht kruidig, degelijk bitter. Fris. Lichte body.

440ml can. Cloudy, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, thick, fluffy, moderately lasting and lacing, white head. Yeasty spicy, minimally funky and grassy, slightly citrusy, hoppy aroma, hints of hay with floral interludes, a touch of white pepper, old lemon peel, brine and mustard seed, even coriander seed. Taste is slightly bready, pale malty, slightly yeasty spicy and grassy, minimally citrusy hoppy, hints of hay, a touch of white and black pepper, coriander seed, lemon balm, mandarine peel. Somehow foamy texture, smooth and super-soft palate, soft carbonation. Mild, a bit cautious if not anaemic - but a very nice composition overall. Highly drinkable and decently refreshing - I like it.

Can from Appellation Wines. Pours clear golden with a thick bubbly head. Aromas of white pepper and lemon. Taste is more of the same, some dough and orange added. Dry finish.

Can from Appellation Wines. Appearance - golden with a generous fluffy head. Nose - light funky lemon and white pepper. Taste - more of the same. Quite ripe fruit this time, almost canned oranges, so perhaps that's the dry hopped effect. Palate - light to medium bodied, creamy yet tangy middle, dry and persistent zingy finish. Overall - good beer.

Bottle split at the pre GBBF Shindig '18, thanks to Steve, 04/08/18. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is tangy citric peel, straw, toasted grains, light spice, lemon rind. Taste comprises light tropical fruit esters, stale bread, toasted grains, light yeast flicker, lemon tang, farmhouse notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light grassy hop bitterness. Decent saison.

Bottle shared at Chris and Ruth shindig 04/08/2018. Many thanks. A light hazed yellow straw coloured pour with a translucent lasying white head. Aroma is lemon and pear,, wheat. Flavour is composed of peppery, lemon, light wheat, zippy lemon, nice.

ABV: 5.2%. Cloudy medium yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, grass, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, saison yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, pale malt, wheat, grass, saison yeast, plastic notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180804]

Bottle thanks to Steve. It pours lightly hazy yellow sigh a small white head. The aroma is sweet, oily, quite floral indeed, rosehip, spice, straw and grass. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, pithy, zesty, powdery, grapefruit, chalky, floral and straw with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation, foamy carbonation. A bit chalky. Fair enough.
