Clear amber brown with a bubbly/frothy white head and subtle caramel on the nose. Light bodied, fresh with sweet malt, caramel and some fruit, pleasant sweet ale with a slightly dry finish

Bottle at home, clearing the rot box pre house move, 24/08/16 ... not a gusher - hurrah ! Copper golden with a well appointed off white head that retains well. Nose is orange peel, straw, toasted grains, biscuit, light herbal notes. Taste comprises light floral notes, bready, faint citric peel, hint of tea leaves. Medium bodied, slightly overcarbed and a touch prickly, semi drying close. Decent enough bitter.

On gravity at the Wellington, Bristol 29/05/10. Deep copper in colour with a small white head. Sweetish malt aroma with plenty of citrus hops. Caramel malt flavours, with a touch of red fruit and plenty more citrus hops in the finish. An excellent bitter.
