Cask (Oliver Twist, Stockholm) - Black with a fairly big head. Coffee, chocolate and some slightly minty and smoky notes in the aroma. Smooth taste with notes of coffee, liquorice, chocolate, smoke and mint.

Bottle at Oliver Twist. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of cacao. Dry and sweet taste of chocolate, coffee and oak, hard carbonated.

Bottled at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Black with rich firm head. Chocolate and licorice up front. Mid dry with medium body and soft, creamy mouthfeel. Toasty coffee and licorice. Mid bitter finish. Long balanced bitter finish. Quaffable and pleasant.

Flaska på Närke Kulturbryggeri, kladdkakans dag. Svartbrun med ljusbeiget gräddigt skumlock. Torrt och rostat med laktos, grädde, toffee och chark med en fin bränd ton i eftersmaken. Smakrik och svepvänligt.

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Närke Dubh Linn ].Clear dark brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, coffee, dusty coffee. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, coffee, dusty, espresso, dark malt, wood, light earthy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20170922] 7-3-7-3-14

Sample at SBWF 2017. Almost black with a medium tan head. Mild with dark malt, licorice and some coffee. The body was on the light side.
