Bottle from Bierkoning, Amsterdam. Aroma is peppery saison yeast, wheaty grainy malt, spicy notes, fruity with citrus, lemon, and grassy notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and mildly bitter. Body is medium. Well-rounded Saison.

On tap at Shelton Festival. Pours a hazy yellow gold with medium creamy white head that lasts. The aroma is floral, yeast, lemon zest. wheat. Light body, earth, yeast, citrus, light dry finish, very good.

ABV: 5.5%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, herbs, grass, moderate yeasty, fruity yeast, saison yeast. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, saison yeast, herbs, grass, wheat. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180730]

Bottle at home. A rough looking pour and a harsh sourness to the taste. It was drinkable, but in no way smooth or particularly enjoyable. Pretty bad.

Bottle at home, 05/02/17. Hazed golden yellow with a decent off white covering. Nose is lemon rind, yeast esters, white peppery spices, straw, light hops, faint florals, hay bale, grains. Taste comprises lemon tinged straw, light balsa wood, faint spice, Belgian yeast esters, orange peel, on the turn melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid for the style, clean and refreshing.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy golden amber pour with a thin off white head, aroma has lemon and yeast, taste involves spicy yeast action, some tangerine, feint grape.

Bottle from the brewery and drunk at home. Hazy pale gold colour lasting white head. Attractive saison yeast aroma. Some good English style hedgerow hops over a lemony saison flavour. Some hop on the finish. A little dry maybe. Some good juicy lemon. Simple but attractive saison .

Bottle at home picked up from the brewery. A light hazed yellow / straw coloured pour with a fading fine white head. Aroma is tangy cereal grains, straw, green apple, lemon rind, earthy saison yeast, light herbal note. Flavour is composed of light rustic grains, cereal , straw, hay, grassy citrus, herbal hops. Rustic saison yeast character. Palate is fine, grains, moderate airy carbonation. Crisp and dry finish. Solid saison.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours hazy, rich gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds some citrus tang, wheat bread, tangerine. Light sweet flavour with ample bready wheat character, some grainy notes, a little white grape, melon. Light-medium sweet flavour, with more wheat character, straw, citrus rind, faint pine. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Good balance in the finish, more husky notes, dried wheat, lemon peel. Quite nice.
