Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Hazy, dark red to brown with a beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty and a bit spicy aroma of caramel, lovage and some chocolate. Quite sweet, malty, slightly roasty and a bit spicy taste of caramel, milk chocolate, coffee, hazelnut and some licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter, slightly earthy-dry finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Nice!

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 1. Opaque pitch black color, small to average sized beige head. Smell and taste remind me of a quadrupel rather than an Imperial Porter: malts, raisins, liquor, roast, roasted malts, toffee, bitter, dark malt and slightly overripe dark fruit bitter. Medium body and carbonation. Solid. 7-4-7-4-14.
