Brewed with our friends at Slackwater Brewing, this farmhouse ale was fermented and conditioned in one of our foeders. Moderately hopped with Motueka and BC Fuggle, this farmhouse ale showcases a mildly tart earthy character, with mineraly and malt complexity that culminated in a highly sessionable, complex beer.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear-ish gold with white head. Brett and rustic saison yeast with hint of white wine, but overall a bit muted (could be the age - probably should have opened this a few months earlier). Flavour complexity is still there though, decent, just a bit subdued overall.

Draught at the Alibi Room, Vancouver
Hazy blond colour. Moderately Bretty aroma, light fruity esters. The flavour is more dominated by the Brett, and balanced by some stone fruit; refreshing and reasonably complex; it's dry, crisp and enjoyable.

Pale and hazy. There’s a lot of barrel, tastes like bourbon but maybe been through a few uses already. There’s some nice light bugginess in there as well. Doesn’t go anywhere too unique, but it’s a well balanced beer well worth drinking. Light tannins in the finish and that light barrel note are appealing.

A hazed golden saison with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light grapeskins, light cork and Brett, light lactic notes, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light grapeskins, lemon rinds, very nice and smooth. On tap at brewery.

473mL can, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out plenty of farmhouse notes, rustic saison yeast, and some lemony peppery notes. Flavour is tart and citrusy, with spicy rustic saison yeast, lots of citrus, farmhouse notes, and some gentle bitterness on the finish. Nicely constructed, with a lemony finish. Good stuff.
