(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours opaque orange-gold with a thicc eggshell head and heavy lace. Aroma of ripe and musky orange, orange peels as well, dank mango, pit fruit, some melon florals, Flavour is intensely dank and ripe mango-forward, some ultra-ripe peach too, floral tropicals like guava and acid-free passionfruit, cannabis edge, round and fruity yeast, smooth lightly bready malt but mostly submissive to the hops, fresh orange zest makes its appearance mid-sip and starts to take over from the mango towards the finish which is heavy on citrus oil with some juicy fruit sweetness, but finishes off-dry with orange zest long into the aftertaste but a distinct lack of bitterness from all the Citra advanced products. Medium-bodied, oily to creamy, soft carbonation.

Hazy golden-orange colour with a frothy white cap, good stay and sticky-foamy lacing. Big lemon zest aromas with some orange peel notes. The taste shows as well the zest-peel bitterness, creating a decent dry finish. Some mild spiciness from the hops. A less juicy, more dry-bitter, zesty-citrusy peel Double IPA.

Can: Poured a hazy/yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy notes with some dank notes and juicy floral hops undertones. Taste is also a mix of citrusy notes with some hoppy floral hops undertones and some dank notes with light residual sugar notes but also a dryer finish than expected. Body is full with good carbonation. Well brewed double NEIPA with great juicy hops flavor and appears more complex than a single hops IPA.

In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, light dank notes, very nice. On tap at Hautes Plaines location.
