A classic North East style best bitter brewed using a combination of English Fuggles and Goldings hops. A rich amber colour ale with a fruity nose and light sweet flavour with notes of caramel and fruit.

At 3.6% this is a delicious session ale.

Draft at Head of Steam - Sheffield. Light amber pour, clear when settled, creamy off-white head, thick lacing. Light malty aroma with some fruity notes. Taste adds in notes of tea and tobacco, malty. Lovely body, but a really quick finish

Keg pint in the Station Hotel, Hexham on 13th April 2023. Off-white crown on a clean amber body. It's a sweet malty molasses sort of brew, caramel to the fore, light hop bitterness towards the finish.

Draught @ Head Of Steam - Quayside, 🇬🇧 11-17 Broad Chare, NE1 3DQ Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne & Wear, England.

ABV: 3.6%. Clear medium amber colour with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, sweet malt, light caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, hay - straw, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180723]

4/6/2018. Draught at Hogans, Darlington. Pours amber with a creamy lasting off-white head. Aroma of caramel, biscuit, malt and fruit with metallic notes. Medium plus sweetness, light bitterness. Moderate body, slight watery texture, soft carbonation.

Keg at Hogans, Darlington. Amber colour, creamy white foam head leaving lacing and malty, metallic aroma. Taste is malt, some caramel with cardboard and metallic bitterness. Light bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. OK, abit bland.
