330ml bottle from Piccadilly Tap, shared with Finn on a train from Manchester to Nottingham. Pours a diminishing fawn-coloured head, jet black body, and lacing rings on the glassware. Inviting smoothly roasted bread on the nose. Rather rich taste of nutty chocolate, biscuit and liquorice. Rounded roasted tail. Well bodied. Pleasant stout version. (11.10.2022).

Delt med Rune på tog mellom Manchester & Nottingham. Ultramørkebrun. Middels høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Spotlacing. Aroma av sjokolade & lakris. Smaken salt lakris. Tørr - svakt bitter - avslutning.

Appearance is very dark brown, with a 1-2 finger thick mocha head. Aroma is caramel, chocolate, toasty malt, toffee, biscuity malt, hints of fudge. Taste is chocolate, biscuity malt, toffee, milky coffee, chocolate cake. Bit of bitter hops, more black than IPA.

330ml bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours clear black with a medium-sized off-white head. Aroma is roasted malt, butter, citrusy hops. Taste is light to medium sweet, roasted malt, coffee, pine. Medium bitter finish.

Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - dark brown to black. Off-white lacing. Nose - toffee, caramel and milk chocolate. Taste - honeycomb, toffee, light smoke. Palate - close to medium bodied, creamy, dry, elegant finish. Overall - it's a porter.

Bottle at ash's. Pours deep brown, nose is toffee, earthy, grain husks, pine, taste is sweet toffee, light fruit, roasted, bitter.

Bottle shared with Stuu666 and Ashton McCobb. Pours hazy dark brown with a thin beige head. Aromas of roasted malt, chocolate, pine as in toilet cleaner. Taste is light sweet, chocolate, more pine. Bitter finish.

Many thanks for this beer to Jacek Wigier (wineofdreams@gmail.com). piwo ma ladna bezowa pianke, opada szybko, barwa ciemna gesta, pachnie lupinami od orzechow, pralinami. W smaku praliny, beczulki z alkoholem, czekoladki nadziewane koniakie,, do tego trufle szampanskie i nieco orzecha brazylijskiego, goryczkowy profil z lekka slodowoscia, dobre choc bez wielkiej rewekacji.

Tap at Oluthuone Leskinen, Oulu. Color is dark brown with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dryness, coffee, diacetyl and some roasted malts. Watery with lots of unpleasant elements.
