Cask at the Twice Brewed Inn, Bardon Mill, 15/05/2025.
Clear golden topped with a lasting white cap ... lacing ensues.
Nose is citric zest, grass, melon, tangerine.
Taste comprises melon, orange peel, soft malts, light breads.
Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a light juicy hop spattering.
Decent fresh tasting cask golde.

Bottle. Pours clear orange gold with a white cap. Biscuit malts, orange, bit grassy, towards dry. Light sweet & bitter, light body with moderate carbonation. Simple bog standard golde

Okay clear gold body and mellow foam. soft hop and honey aroma, light grain. Taste is mellow fruity hops, ends smooth. Tasty and refreshing, though simple.

Bottle thanks to allmyvinyl. Appearance - orange to brown. Thin but attractive lacing. Nose - dried orange, earthy and malty. Taste - light orange and earthy. Dry biscuits. Palate - light bodied, dry and crunchy. Overall - ok.

Bottle at James's. Pours clear golden orange, nose is burnt toffee, caramel, citrus, taste is sweet, fruity, little grassy.

[ As Twice Brewed Gallia ].
ABV: 3.7%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, nutty, light fruity, light earthy. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, earthy, damp stain - fusty, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20180723]

25/5/2018. Cask at the 2018 Newark Beer & Cider Festival. Pours slightly hazy dark gold with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of citrus, hop, pine and wood. Medium sweetness, moderate bitterness and a touch of sour. Moderate body, slightly watery texture, average carbonation.
