Keg at the Twice Brewed Inn, Bardon Mill, 15/05/2025.
Murky shit water brown with a light beige cap ... looks terrible!
Nose is biscuit, herb, straw, grains.
Taste comprises earthy fruits, straw, herb, hedgerow, twiggy.
Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter edge.
Worst beer at this venue by some distance ... looked terrible also ... odd choice for a keg line!

Keg @ Tilt, Birmingham with Rich, Craig and John. Pours a deep mahogany with off-white foam atop. Pleasant bitter I suppose, quite a prickly bitterness with a nice fruity toffee undercurrent, some woody malt shades.

Tap at Tilt a Birmingham. Poured a clear copper colour with a lasting frothy white head. The aroma is nutty hop bitter. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, rich, mineral, nutty, woody hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from the brewery online shop. Pours clear amber with a short- lived thin white head. Aromas of caramel, toast and fruit. Taste has some faint blackcurrant and toffee. Clean finish. Proper northern bitter.
