A complex malt bill that marries together different flavours and hues to produce a vibrant red colour and mighty body. 6 different malts are hopped with large amounts of Columbus and Mosaic to give a full, smooth mouthfeel with a slightly spicy finish.

Bottle at the crazy hot Croydon town crank fest. It pours clear red-amber with a small beige head. The nose is toasty, biter-sweet, spicy notes, red berry, caramel, jam, brown bread and toffee. The taste is toasty, bitter-sweet, varnish, citrus rind, pine, soap, leather, pepper, caramel, resin and brown bread. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fairly simple.

Tropical Croydonia Bottleshare. Thanks to Jack. Almost clear amber beer, small and untidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Very light tangy caramel malts. Stale tea in the mid. Light piney hops and whispers of orange and marmalade. Light finish. Spicy bitter linger. Some odd character here but didn’t hate it at all.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Jack. Pours clear gold with a frothy white head. The nose has some ripe orange and grainy malts. Lig sweet flavor with a bit of diacetyl, more grains, bitter husk, grass. Light bodied with average carbonation. Bitter and grainy on the finish, more grass, orange rind. Very little grace here.
