Zomersaion is a blend of Fantôme saison with 1 and 2 year old lambic. Fantôme saison brings white pepper phenolic aroma to the blend and a distinctive ester profile reminiscent of stone fruits. The lambic fermented the saion bone dry and added a touch of acidity. The barrels this beer was aged in define the "zomer" (summer) character of the beer.

Pours a clear amberblonde. Small white head. Scent is a bit aged, not as gracefully as most bokke's kept. Taste is tart, full on body and maltyness. Mild spicyness from the saison. Very smooth blend, gentle geuze. High carbonation. Not bad at all. Less complex perhaps, but that works very well for the drinkability.

Bottle thanks to Matt. Pours a cloudy orange with large frothy off white head leaving spotty lacing. The aroma strong funk, rubber, earth, pepper. Medium body, funky, citrus, spice, crisp, clean finish, very nice.

Probably the least interesting for me this festival, but still damn good. Might have gotten overshadowed by the rest. Very subtle and soft beer, lots of funk, lots of wood, and a light fruityness. Nicely sour, no sharpness.

Bottle shared by the goat himself. Pours hazy dark orange with a medium white head. Aroma is heavily fruity. God those barrels have done some magic. Huge stone fruit sweetness and acidity, estery sweet notes, floral, orange, citrus, hay. Taste is stonefruity aswell, acidic and sweet along with the estery notes and a nice funky backbone along with just a little bit of malty notes. Super delicious.

From bottle @ Carnivale Brettanomyces 2017. Deep golden color. Gooseberries and lemon in the aroma. Oak. Sour dry flavor with hints of fruit. Not a trace of the Fantome noticeable. Good!
