Draft a the brewpub. 5%. Hazed onion brown coloured pour with a lasting greyish cream head. Aroma is weird, woody, mouldy, raw ginger root, woody. Flavour is composed of mouldy wood and wet dog funk, spicy ginger and lemon, wood tannin. Palate is tangy, medium light bodied, highish carbonation. Weird one. More wet dog character.

Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a light beige head. Aroma is very ginger. Med minus body. The flavor is decently sour, but very ginger. Might be a little fruit of some sort - seems that way after the ginger burn subsides a bit, but maybe not. Really good - much like a West Vlaanderen sour red/brown, but with ginger.
