Pale amber golden color. Very carbonated looking. Very dry, tart sour nose that is super funky with cactus as mentioned in the description and lemon in the nose. Sour, almost like drink cactus juice. Light medium body. Very different. The prickly pear doesn’t shine like I thought. I don’t know what to make of this. Glad i tried it once, but would stick to other fruit beers from council instead of this.

Pours a clear pale gold with a small white head and spotty lace. Apparently the previous batch of this beer was pink, while the 2nd batch dropped totally clear. Huh. Aroma of musky prickly pear, pear skins, bready, tart, lemon, earth, wheat, light funk. Flavour is moderately tart thanks to a lactic acid bite and some sour pear, again a bunch of prickly pear, cucumber, grape and lemon, bready wheat, lightly funky. Finishes fairly dry with a quenching acidity and lingering cactus. Medium bodied. Very nice stuff, my favourite beer at Council, something a bit different.

On tap at the brewery. Hazy orange/pink with a small head. Aroma of bread, cucumber, "cactus" and funk. Similar taste. On the light side and with a medium tart finish.

On tap at Council, pours a clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out lots of crisp, tart pear skins. Flavour brings out lots of crisp pears, moderate tartness and lovely acidity. Wonderful pear quality. Excellent.

On tap at the brewery. Pours a clear pink orange with small off white head that diminishes quickly. The aroma is strong pear, dough, wheat. Thin body, prickly pear, wheat, nice tartness, very good.

Update - Draft - Lots of Nice Melon with some acidity. Bottle - Flowery berry notes and possibly pear. Clear pink. Sweet, candy and light. Dry and sweet.
