Bottle sample at a tasting at Max's place. Thanks Stas & zvikar. Murky red. Vinegar, oak, beries, funk, wine, sour, acidic, vanilla, alcohol, medium-bodied. Nice but a bit too acidic.

375ml bottle @ Chez Sophie. Pours a generally clear deep red, small white head. Aroma presents sour lactic cherries. Taste is extremely sharp with prominent cherries and a bright acidity, red wine tannin is fairly low in the mix, very subtle and barely noticeable vanilla and cacao. Excellent sharp acidic cherry sour, reminiscent of a beefed up Alexander.

Head reduced to white rim; faintly hazy deep-red beer. End of bottle solid yeast. Laurel, red fruit, red berries, lactic acid. Sour red fruit, hint at chocolate or mole. Quite sour, lactic acid. In the finish, there's fruity character a gogo, vanilla and tonkabean-like sweetness, if soft. Acidthinning, medium carbonation, fruitslick. Very good fruitsour.

375 ml bottle, bottled 10/26/17. Shared by PowY, many thanks!
Red-purple body, with almost no head.
Aroma with lots of raspberries, moderate red grapes, wood, slight vanilla.
Tastes quite similar, with slight vinegar.
Medium, slick mouthfeel, with an average carbonation.
Finishes medium acidic, a bit dry, medium wooden, a bit sweet, slightly vinegary, a bit vinous with lingering raspberries.

Tasty. Although with a lot of additives, quite simple, with the raspberries dominating and the grapes coming from the background. The vanilla and the cocoa are quite subtle, just adding to the body. Lovely, balanced stuff.
