(375ml bottle from boxbeers.dk) Pours a nearly clear deep reddish colour with a small but stable white ring of head. Aroma of tart raspberries, red wine, quite prominent cocoa powder, oak, light vanilla, a little lactic acid, a bit of a wet funk blanket overlaying it. Flavour of lightly sweet and fairly lightly tart red wine with an undercurrent of raspberry preserves, sweetness emphasized by creamy vanilla and soft oak, with cacao and berry pips becoming more prominent later in the sip. Finish is rather dry with a bit of tart raspberry, lots of cacao/vanilla, and distinct red wine. Medium bodied, oily, softly carbonated, no real alcohol. Nice one, surprising balance of the various adjuncts. Appreciate that the base is not an acetic acid bomb too.

This beer pours a cloudy ruby-brown color with a medium pinkish-white head that dissipates steadily to a wispy film. Stringy lacing on the glass. Vinous and fruity aroma with some oak and vanilla in the background. Medium to full body with flavors of tart raspberries, vinous oak, vanilla and subtle chocolate. The finish is tart and oaky with a berry and wine aftertaste. Good beer all around.
