Pint at the brewey, 7/2/16.
Bright amber-cherry hued beer with high clarity (little bit of chill-haze) and a beige head with moderate to moderately strong retention.
Tons of bright, varied fruitiness in the nose ranging from strawberry-apple to light chery and nectarine. Some spicy hop notes are light and pleasant while the amber malts add a touch of iced tea but are also buttressed by softer base malts. Some very light cream-of-wheat-like character on the finish with tons of fruitiness lingering.
Slick-to-lightly-soft ranges the texture, with ample, engaging carbonation and a good attenuation providing plentiful esters. No heavy breadiness from the medium malts and a dry wheat-like flavor on the finish alongside delicate, spicy/herbal hop notes. Excellently drinkable and well-made.
