Draught at the brewery, 6/4/16.
Light amber-golden body shows good clarity and a light beige head atop with fair retention.
Malt sugars and coffee beans in the nose are both soft and mild, with leafy, vegetal hops behind it, adding light citrus and just a pinch of pine. It all balances out shockingly well with hints of roast, vanilla and honey lingering on the finish. Light touch of orange marmalade, as well with no alcohol or flaws.
Succulent malts provide a soft, perfect backdrop to the citrusy (orange and lemon) hops which themselves provide only modest bitterness. Coffee flavor is mild but true, with low roast and bitterness. Just an all-around easygoing, very drinkable beer with low but ample carbonation and no alcohol or resin.
