Draught at the brewery, Winter 2012.
Deep, rich golden-amber colored beer has a light haziness to it and a medium-sized white head that steadily fades.
Peachy hops indeed, though I think some of this peach-like sweetness is coming from the malt, which also seems to be fairly prominent here. Dank, leafy and lightly earthy, the hops never seem to assert much acidity and rather seem to be a noble hop-like character with easygoing tropical fruits and tons of dank, leafy, green character. No alcohol or flaws.
Fresh, leafy, lightly woodsy and earthy, with malt being quite prominent, soft and moderately sweet. Low bitterness, yet tons of fruit character, with light nectarine, peach, mango and gently spicy herbs. Interesting and enjoyably lacking in any harsh resin/acidity. Seemed to come right around the dawn of the juice-bomb IPA though this one probably had a bit too much malt and not nearly enough hop to get to that point yet.
