On tap at Papago, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, some residual sugars, and caramel malt. Flavour is big on the resinous hops upfront, followed by caramely bready malt. Sweet and sticky. Decently constructed.

Draught at Papago, 12/28/15.
Clear bronze with a small white head showing medium retention.
Good hop aromatics here, with light biscuity malt notes behind it. Tangerine, pear, apple, orange rind and a touch of pine. No alcohol or flaw.
Bitter, again, as most of the IPAs out here seem to be. Arizona seems to be doing great things with experimental adjunct beers, but they are certainly lagging behind in the IPA department. Most of them still have the heavy hop-stewed bitterness that seems to be a thing of the past. Not a ton of juiciness or tropical character here, but that being said, it’s in good condition and well-attenuated. Huss brewing seems to be doing a good, clean job with their (and Papago’s) beers.

A golden ale with a thin off white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with treacle, grassy hops, light scotch. In mouth, a nice caramel malt with light woody character, not bad. On tap at Huss Brewing.
