I Seem to Be a Verb

This Belgian-Style Bière de Garde was brewed with a plethora of specialty malts including raw wheat and spelt malt, for a deep amber color and flavors of biscuits, roasted chestnuts and baking spices. We open fermented this beer with our house Belgian yeast and allowed it to condition for a couple weeks on bourbon staves. We then laid it down in a fresh cabernet barrel for an additional 6 months. It exhibits notes of red plum, tobacco, oak black pepper and grape skins.
