Canned 2/24/18, drunk 2/28/18.
Moderately hazy, golden-maize-bronze with a good-sized white head showing moderate retention.
Nose is excellently-expressed, spicy galaxy with great juiciness and a bright, crisp, snappy finish with just a touch of light honey and cracker from the malt. No flaw, pine or alcohol.
In the mouth it's spicy, soft, understated, as the hop often is with a bit of pineapple rind for extra spiciness and zest. Soft melon, bubble gum and light honey mix in and it gains a lot of juiciness towards the end, especially as it warms and breathes. Spicy mineral character, light wine and more tropical notes linger on. Amazing stuff and a real testament to the Galaxy hop. Soft, well-malted, well-attenuated texture with tight carbonation. Wish they would make this one more often.
